Men’s Mental Health has long been neglected. Often starting in adolescence, young men and boys have been told “suck it up”, “don’t be a wuss”, “crying makes you a b#*%#!” We take offense to that narrative. We believe that true strength lies within the space of vulnerability. Confronting fears, challenging our deepest held convictions, and creating deeper relationships with both ourselves and others.
“You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find true strength.” – Marcus Aurelias, Meditations
Through counseling we believe this narrative can and will be changed improving the mental health of men and those who love them.
